Biography
Anna Lugovkina was born in 2005 in Russia. At the age of nine, Anna entered the State Conservatory Košice as a gifted student, where she studied cello until the age of 14. In 2017, she entered the preparatory courses at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna MDW, where she studies to this day. Anna is a member of the MDW Talent Lab's Young Masters Program.
She is a scholarship holder of the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities of the academy.
During her studies in Slovakia, Anna repeatedly became the winner of various musical national competitions and is also a laureate of two international competitions held in Slovakia. In 2016, Anna won a special prize at the “International Cello Competition Antonio Janigro”. In 2020, she received the 3rd prize at the “International Cello Competition Anna Kull” in Graz.

Anna was honored with performances at the concert halls of the Slovak Philharmony, Bratislava and the Slovak State Philharmonic Košice.
