Biography
Ecmel Nevâ Bildik was born in 2009 in Turkey. She started to take violin lessons at the age of four and a half as a hobby. After two years, she was accepted into the violin class of Lily Chumburidze at the State Conservatory of Mersin University in 2016. She continues her education with Lily Tchumburidze and is an 8th grade student of the State Conservatory of Mersin University.
She attended the master classes of Svetlin Roussev,Mintcho Mintchev Cihat Askin, Hakan Sensoy, Muhammed Jan Turdiev, Dylan Blackmore, and Rengim Gökmen. She’s also a scholarship holder of the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities offered by the academy.

Ecmel was awarded the 2nd prize at the “22nd Talents for Europe International Competition” which was held in Slovakia in 2018, the 2nd prize at the “International Arthur Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists” which was held in Belgium in 2020 and the 1st prize at “International Music Competition Melos” 2020. In 2021, she received the remarkable performance special diploma at the “5th Leonid Kogan International Competition”, and in 2022, she was awarded the 1stprize at the “6th Nouvelles Etoiles Competition” which was held by the Centre de musique et des arts ArtimA. In 2022, she was also awarded the 1st prize at the “Marine Iashvili II International Competition for String Instruments” in Georgia, and in 2023, she won the 1st prize and the Great Interpretation Prize at the “Cambridge Music Competition” in London.
In 2018, Ecmel performed as a soloist violinist accompanied by the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra. She took part at the 5th Adiyaman Classical Music Festival in 2019, passed the Promising Young Talents selection and performed on stage as a soloist. In 2020, she passed the Shining Stars Selection held by Is Sanat, and in 2022, she gave a successful recital at Is Sanat Art Center. As a result, she was awarded the Meriç Soylu Prize. In 2020, she also performed on stage with the Mersin State Conservatory Academical Chamber Orchestra as a soloist. In 2021 she was accepted with a scholarship in the masterclass of the world-famous violinist Svetlin Roussev which was held by the ICFEMA Academy Festival. On the extent of the same festival on the same date, she gave a concert at CRR Concert Hall.
