Biography
María Linares was born in 2001 in Spain and completed a BMus degree with Honors and is currently pursuing a MMus Degree on Instrumental Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a full scholarship under Prof. Pascal Nemirovski. She is a Myra Hess Award holder supported by Help Musicians UK.
In advance of moving to England, she received the highest accolades in piano as well as chamber music, being under Juan Lago at the Conservatorio Jose Iturbi of Valencia. Also, she is a scholarship holder at the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein, by taking part in their Intensive Weeks.

At the age of 12, Maria performed her first solo recital, closely followed by her debut with orchestra playing in continuous seasons E. Grieg Op.16, F. Chopin Op.11, F. Liszt S.124, W.A. Mozart Kv. 271 and J.S. Bach BWV 1061. She has also performed W.A. Mozart K.242, J.S. Bach BWV 1065 and C. Saint-Saëns Op.22 with the Orchestra of Valencia, under the baton of Manuel Hernández Silva and Daniel de Tejada. Recently she performed Rachmaninoff 3rd concerto with the Joven Orquestra de la Generalitat Valenciana, with Roberto Forés as the conductor; in the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Auditorio y Palau de Congresos in Castellón, and the Auditorio Palacio in Altea, Alicante.
She performs in consolidated Festivals and Concert halls around Europe such as XXXVII Chopin of Valldemossa, II Iturbi Piano Festival, Eutherpe 20th Anniversary, VIII Youth Segovia Festival, IV Campillos Music Festival, Rossini di Gioia del Colle Theater, Museo Diocesano di Brescia, Hindemith Music Centre and Beethoven, Ulverston and London Festival in the United Kingdom, among others.
In addition to being lauded as one of the young ambassadors of the “Lang Lang International Music Foundation'', she has been the absolute prize-winner in many distinguished nationals and internationals piano competitions, part of them being: Carlet 2022, XXVI Ruperto Chapí, XXXIV Marisa Montiel, XVII Ciudad de Xàtiva, IV Vila de Xàbia, III Sigüenza and Second Prize in III María Herrero, third Prize in the VII Antón García Abril and Third Prize along with the Best Performer of Spanish Music of all categories in XXII Ibiza International Piano Competition.
She has participated in Masterclasses with renowned musicians such as P. Badura-Skoda, C. Katsaris, Lang Lang, K. Gershtein, C. Martínez-Mehner, P. Gililov, J. Soriano, C. Elton, D. Alexeev and M. Raekallio.
