Biography
Elodie Sigrist is a 20-year-old French-Japanese pianist who began learning the piano at the age of six. She studied at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse from 2015. She has benefited from the guidance of several renowned artists during masterclasses, including Claire Désert, Anne Queffélec, Rena Shereshevskaya, Cédric Pescia, Claudio Martinez-Mehner, Bernard d'Ascoli and Bertrand Chamayou. She entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMD) at the age of 17, where she had the opportunity to study with Emmanuel Strosser, Cécile Hugonnard-Roche, David Walter, Itamar Golan and Emmanuelle Bertrand. She is currently pursuing the first year of her Master degree in the class of Claire Désert and Romano Pallottini. In 2024 she joined the piano accompaniment degree program at the CNSMDP in Ariane Jacob's class. Since August 2025, Elodie has been undertaking an Erasmus exchange at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, studying in the class of Tuija Hakkila. She tied for 1st prize in the Challengers category of the Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux International Competition in 2024, was finalist in the 16th Collioure International Piano Competition, and semi-finalist at the 2025 Virtuoses du Cœur competition. She has already performed in several festivals and recitals, notably in Toulouse, Paris, Marseille, Aubagne, and Le Castellet.
