Ermonela Jaho is internationally recognized as one of today’s foremost operatic singing actresses, celebrated for her profound emotional intensity and compelling stage presence. She performs regularly at the world’s leading opera houses and has been honored with the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for her significant contributions to arts and culture in France and internationally.Her many distinctions include Winner of the ICMA Vocal Music Award 2026 for her Opera Rara recordings Donizetti Songs Volumes 5 & 6, Best Female Singer at Germany’s OPER! Awards 2024, Best Foreign Artist at Spain’s Opera XXI Awards 2024, Artist of the Year at the International Classical Music Awards 2023, and the Readers’ Award at the International Opera Awards.
