Biography
Chouchane Siranossian is one of the greatest virtuosi of the interna-tional Baroque scene. Her mastery of the violin together with her musicological research work have made her a much sought-after musician of marked individuality.
She began studying the violin with Tibor Varga in Sion. At the age of 15, she was accepted into the class of Pavel Vernikov at the CNSM in Lyon. In 2002, she continued her studies with Zakhar Bron at Zurich University of the Arts, where she completed her soloist diploma with the highest honours in 2007. She then devoted herself intensely to the study of early music in Reinhard Goebel’s class at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. However, at the same time, she also performs world premieres of works by composers such as Daniel Schnyder, Marc-André Dalbavie, Bechara El Khoury, Éric Tanguy, Benjamin Attahir and Thomas Demenga.
