Biography
Till Stümke was born in Germany in 2008. He received his first violin lessons in 2011 with Anna Stümke, concertmaster of the Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2018, he has been taught by Marijn Simons, concertmaster of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra.
Till is a scholarship holder of the Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the academy's intensive weeks and activities.
He won the 1st prize at the “International Ilona Feher Competition” 2018 in Budapest, the 1st prize at the national competition “Jugend Musiziert” 2019 in the trio, the “Wespe” special prize at “Jugend Musiziert” 2020 and the 1st prize and special prizes at the national competition from “Jugend Musiziert” in 2022.

Till made his orchestral debut in 2017 with the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker under Mikhel Kütson. He played further concerts with various small orchestras.
He is a scholarship holder of the German Musical Life Foundation and the Jürgen Ponto Foundation. He won the competition of the foundation Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, which provided him with a violin by Jean Baptiste Vuillaume.
