Biography
Sang Hyeok Park was born in 2004 in South Korea. After graduating as the top cello student from the Yewon School, he was accepted early as a scholarship recipient at the Korea National University of Arts, where he is currently in his final year studying with Kang-ho Lee, Hyong-won Chang, and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi.
He is a scholarship holder at the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein, participating in the academy's intensive weeks and activities.
Sang has won several national and international competitions, including the first prize at the "Shinhan Music Award," the first prize at the "48th Joongang Music Competition," and the top prize at the "Seongjeong Competition." He also won second place at the "Antonio Janigro Competition," first prize at the "David Popper Competition" in Hungary, as well as the Grand Prix and third prize at the "17th International Tchaikovsky Competition." In 2023, he secured second place at the "4th International Penderecki Cello Competition."

He receives a full scholarship at the Kronberg Academy and is supported by the Ondream Culture and Arts Talent Scholarship from the Hyundai Motors Group Foundation.
